All my knitting designs can be directly prototyped with my digital patterns.
You can see every single stitch pixel by pixel and you can easily get an idea of what the knitted part will look like with the design template. What you see is what you get. >>

Why you get something different

I love knitwear. Imaginative colorful jacquards are my specialty. My goal is to create something imperishable in the transitory. That is why my realized designs are also real statements, and whoever wears them is happy about a piece of individuality in this adapted time.

My creativity

I develop individual and original designs within the design corridor of your collection. I have a good idea of what people like to wear and am always looking for something very special in my design process. The results are favorite garments and as versatile and individual as their wearers.

My color concepts

A special knitting collection convinces and inspires with a well thought-out color concept. Often, even a minimal palette of colors can give a collection the maximum value. Not only do you optimize the yarn stock, an original color concept gives your collection more independence and validity.

My colorations

I always present each design in different color combinations. This not only makes it easier to make a preliminary decision about the optimal color scheme, it also provides additional inspiration in the decision-making process. The shape of a design changes significantly due to its color, pattern and cut. Sometimes a completely new impression is created by changing the coloration.

My sense of trend

Where is your collection going? What influences, developments and role models help in the creative process? How do I keep your collection statement up to date and what fits into my design corridor? Questions that I ask myself at the beginning of each design cycle and that I make available to my customers on request as a basis for decision-making through trend reports, mood boards and color concepts.

How I work: CAD and digital patterns

My graphic pen does what I came up with. My design work takes place exclusively on the computer, to the great advantage for my customers. The implementation from draft to finished knitting is a small step in which nothing is left behind..

Upon request, my customers can receive the digital pattern for every knitting design. The pattern corresponds to the stitch size of your knitting technique and serves as a reliable basis for the knitting programming. This means that you implement exactly what you have decided.

MY Philosophy

There is no longer a fashion dictation, and that’s a good thing. I am inspired by fashion trends without losing sight of your target group. Nature makes us individuals and fashion is first and foremost an expression of this individuality. With my designs I want to attract people and give them a nice stylistic device that they can combine creatively. A favorite piece that gives pleasure for more than one season.

I didn’t choose my idiosyncratic name but it is an expression of my individuality and has been with me all my life. Independent as my designs and my way of working. After my studies, fashion design at the University for Design in Pforzheim, I designed unusual knitwear as chief designer until I opened my own studio in 1990 as a freelance designer. Since then I have been developing sophisticated knitting designs for women’s, men’s and children’s collections in Germany, Italy and Turkey.
